Marquetry has always been a craftsman’s outlet for expression and the exquisite results are no less even though the subject matter is possibly more robust. In this case the iconography is cooling towers, shipping containers, gas masks and skeletons and these maple glyphs are still laid by hand. Something’s don’t change.
